Omni Companies CEO, Adam Hill and Co-Driver Mark Kostick from Sherwood Kia formed Team Wishful Thinking early in 2010 with the goal of raising $100,000 for the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
Team Wishful Thinking entered their Kia Forte Koup (generously donated by Kia Canada) into the 2010 Targa Newfoundland rally. After several motorsport training courses and a huge effort bringing sponsors on board, they had a great first outing in the 2,200km, 7 day, rally event. Their ultimate achievement was presenting a cheque at the finish line for $104,800 to The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
The Team Wishful Thinking Kia Forte Koup will be located in the brand new Kia Canada display at the 2011 Autoshow circuit. In spring 2011, the vehicle will be auctioned-off with all proceeds donated to The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
